ANTIQUE RELATED MUSEUMS

Have you visited the new Deerfield Flynt Center of Early New England Life. Computer terminal permits you to search for items of your interest. While you are in Dearfield it is well worth visiting the Memorial Hall Museum located in a 1798 school building.

HISTORIC DEERFIELD
A museum of New England history and art within the carefully preserved 328 year old village of Deerfield, Massachusetts.

MYSTIC SEAPORT MUSEUM
Located in Mystic, Connecticut (near New London), this seaport museum has a number of ships, and excellent displays on whaling, including a whaling ship.

OLD STURBRIDGE VILLAGE
Located in the central Massachusetts town of Sturbridge, the Village re-creates the daily work activities and celebrations of a rural 19th century town.

STRAWBERY BANKE MUSEUM
Strawbery Banke Museum recreates life in the Puddle Dock neighborhood of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, over 300 years. Exhibits nine period houses and gardens.

HANCOCK SHAKER VILLAGE
An outdoor history museum of Shaker life on 1200 acres in the scenic Berkshire hills of Western Massachusetts. Located five miles west of downtown Pittsfield on Route 20.

SHELBURNE MUSEUM
One of America's most extensive and diverse collections of folk, fine and decorative arts. This Sheburne, Vermont location also maintains seven historic homes (1773-1840) moved from upper New England.
