Imortalized in Longfellows poem. Reputed to be the oldest operating Inn in America tracing its roots to 1716.

THREE CHIMNEYS INN

A 1649 Homestead and a 1795 Carriage House, recently restored.
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Eight minutes to Portsmouth's
historic homes and the living village of STRAWBERY BANKE MUSEUM .
WATCHTIDE ..by the Sea
190 West Main Street - Rt. 1
Searsport, ME
Owned by Revolutionary War Hero General Henry Knox from 1794-1798, became an Inn 1917. Purchased by present owners in 1994. WATCHTIDE is listed on the National Historic Register.
